Terms of Service

By placing an order with Willamette Ironworks, you agree to the following terms:

Orders & Custom Work

Many items are handmade to order. Due to the handcrafted nature of blacksmithing, slight variations in finish, texture, dimensions, and appearance may occur. These natural variations are part of handmade forged work and are not considered defects.

Custom orders require clear communication and approval of all design details before production begins. Once work has started, design changes may not be possible and may result in additional charges.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of purchase for all standard listed items.

For custom commissions over $50, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the completed item will be shipped or released for pickup.

Failure to complete final payment within a reasonable timeframe may result in order cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.

Production Times

Estimated completion times are provided as general guidelines and may vary depending on workload, material availability, project complexity, and unforeseen circumstances.

While every effort is made to complete orders within estimated timelines, completion dates are not guaranteed.

Shipping & Delivery

Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

Willamette Ironworks is not responsible for shipping delays, loss, or damage caused by carriers once an item has been transferred for shipment, though reasonable assistance will be provided when possible.

Refunds, Returns & Revisions

All sales are final unless otherwise outlined in the posted refund policy.

Reasonable revisions or alterations may be accommodated at my discretion. Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs related to revision requests, as well as any additional labor or material costs when applicable.

Product Use & Liability

Buyers are responsible for proper installation, handling, maintenance, and use of all products.

Willamette Ironworks is not liable for damages, injury, or loss resulting from misuse, improper installation, modification, neglect, or normal wear and tear.

Intellectual Property & AI Use

All designs, product photos, branding, written content, and original work created by Willamette Ironworks remain my intellectual property unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

No content, images, designs, or products created by Willamette Ironworks may be copied, reproduced, scraped, used for dataset creation, machine learning, artificial intelligence training, or any automated generative systems without explicit written permission.

Right to Refuse Service

Willamette Ironworks reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to abusive conduct, unreasonable demands, or requests that cannot be fulfilled to my standards.
