Ornate Hairpin

These Ornate hair pins are individually hand forged here in my Albany, Oregon shop using 1/4" steel & traditional blacksmithing methods.

Each pin is shaped freehand while the steel is hot, then textured and finished by hand. They’re built to be fully functional first  strong, balanced, and comfortable to wear with added forged detail for those who want a little more visual character.

It’s designed as a strong, long-lasting alternative to mass-produced hair accessories. The smooth taper holds hair securely without pulling, snagging, or breaking. A great alternative for those that get headaches from fabric hair ties.

 Small variations in shape and texture are part of what makes each piece unique.
